EXA is a mixture of both physical and hyper-reality experiences that holds a fully immersive, wireless free roaming movie-like concept. A sci-fi shooting game involving multi-players of four in a closed room, troopers are placed in EXA Outpost's Ingress room for a briefing on their mission and safety conditions, where they are suited up with the EXA Gear — player-wearable technology consisting of backpacks, guns, headset, batteries, and a charging system.
Extra-dimensional Travel has become reality now. Extra-dimensional Exploration Alliance, EXA is formed to explore and safeguard the boundless dimensions. A newly formed rookie team, lead by Commander Ric had been assigned to an unexpected mission after their systems were interrupted by an unknown sources DIMENSION 12.
EXA Troopers are exposed to many unexpected risks and challenges. To survive this tough condition, they are required to undergo the Battle Simulation Training to prepare themselves for the real wild dimension during their mission later. Thus, the simulator has been recognised as a ranking system VERXUS for any skilful team. It becomes a team versus team championship within the organisation of EXA every year.
EXA Troopers were sent to DIMENSION 13 to rescue their teammates who had been missing during their last mission; and only to realise that they had fell into a trap of an evil entity.
